The Philadelphia Chapter of NLGJA welcomes you to this year’s convention host city and our hometown. Our members are active in print, broadcast and digital media serving both the LGBTQ and Greater Philadelphia communities.
If you’re coming to Philly early, we would like to invite you to join our members for a Pre-Convention Warmup Happy Hour at the Pen & Pencil Club on Wednesday, Sept. 6, from 7 to 9 p.m. The Pen & Pencil Club, founded in 1892, is the oldest press club in continuous daily operation in the country and a Philadelphia institution. (One of our chapter co-presidents serves on its governing board as well.) It’s located at 1522 Latimer Street, just off the Avenue of the Arts in Center City. (Latimer Street runs parallel to and between Locust and Spruce streets.)
