Jen Grosshandler (she/her) is the Executive Director and co-founder of The GenderCool Project. A global marketing veteran with the world's top brands, Jen combines her decades of marketing and media knowledge with her personal passion as the grateful parent of Chazzie, her 17-year-old transgender daughter, who is the inspiration behind GenderCool. Jen’s work with The GenderCool Project has been featured in Rolling Stone, the New York Times, USA Today, People Magazine, ABC News, Teen Vogue, and Huffington Post, among many other media outlets.

Jen is regularly called upon by the White House to contribute to discussions centered on policy to protect and support transgender and non-binary youth in this country. She is also on the front line of school policy work for gender inclusive schools in Illinois and across the nation. 

Prior to founding The GenderCool Project, Jen had a thriving communications consultancy, supporting brands like McDonald's, Netflix, Starbucks and Allstate. Her battlefield training was at Edelman Worldwide, where she rose to senior vice president/group head.
