I am the publisher and editor-in-chief of EMBRACE Magazine, multiple award-winner including two-time Magazine of the Year by the Florida Magazine Association (2021 and 2023), NLGJA: Association of LGBTQ+ Journalists 2022 Excellence in Photojournalism Award, most awarded magazine three years in a row with the Florida Press Club and Society of Professional Journalists South Florida (2021 - 2023), and New Business of the Year 2022 with the Pride Chamber of Orlando. EMBRACE was launched in May 2020, achieving its success to date while still a startup. I began my journalism career in 2004 after a career in legal work, first as a freelance writer then staff editor with consumer lifestyle magazines in Central Florida before developing my own magazine brands. EMBRACE Magazine is my second brand magazine, and the first LFBTQ+ magazine launched in North Central Florida. EMBRACE has the mission to unite LGBTQ+ and straight communities to live, work, play and pray together.
