I'm an Atlanta native and resident currently serving as digital editor for the local NPR affiliate WABE. Up until I joined WABE in 2021, I worked specifically for LGBTQ media outlets (serving as the editor for the Georgia Voice and then Project Q Atlanta). I'm really enjoying expanding the LGBTQ coverage at WABE and serving as a resource to other reporters in the newsroom on LGBTQ stories across different beats. One recent project I created is our Beyond Pride series (https://www.wabe.org/beyondpride). I went to the regional NLGJA convening in Orlando in 2017, and this is my first time at the national conference!
