Alex Medina is a community reporter for the nonprofit Boyle Heights Beat, a local nonprofit in Los Angeles that mentors youth in the field of journalism. An alumnus of the program himself, Medina returned this past year to give back to the community he calls home after graduating from Hamilton College in Central New York.
