Alicia Hastey is currently Norah O’Donnell’s producer at the CBS Evening News based in Washington D.C. Recent exclusives include an interview with the only female Four Star Generals and Admirals in the U.S. Military, a ride along with the Chief of DC Metropolitan Police, and a deep dive on illegal guns with the ATF. Hastey also works with O'Donnell for live special event coverage - including the arraignment of former President Donald Trump in federal court in Miami. She joined CBS News in 2021. Hastey started her career in the famed Page Program at NBC in New York. While at NBC, she worked in multiple roles including at Nightly News with Lester Holt and at Weekend Today. She graduated from Hofstra University.
