Monica Drake is a deputy managing editor of The New York Times, with a portfolio that encompasses innovation and culture across the newsroom. She oversees culture and careers, a group of journalists dedicated to training, early career opportunities and the staffing resources of the Times’s newsroom. In addition, she manages the incorporation of subscription-based editorial products, including the Athletic, Wirecutter and Games.
