I am an anchor and reporter for Spectrum News 1 OH. I have a focus on covering the multi-national technology company Intel coming to the state as well as diversity and sustainability stories. I identify as a gay woman and part of why I wanted to become a journalist was to make sure underrepresented and marginalized communities have a voice. I think it's important to put a face to a name so viewers can "meet" people who are different than them and then form their opinions. I hope it helps people see the humanness of others, which I think is often a dividing factor.
