Swiftly climbing the ladder of success, he ascended from a dedicated production assistant and weekend graphic artist to a digital reporter and producer. Tylan's thirst for knowledge led him to traverse the nation, gaining invaluable experience at various stations, and evolving into a true luminary of the broadcasting world.
Notably, Tylan's dedication was acknowledged with the prestigious National Association of Black Journalists Salute to Excellence in Television award in 2021. This accolade stands as a testament to his unwavering commitment to excellence and the positive impact he's had on the industry.
Tylan's journey has been marked by a series of pivotal milestones. From his role as a community web producer/reporter in Columbia, South Carolina, to his executive producer positions in Great Falls, Montana, Fort Myers, and Columbus, Ohio, he has consistently raised the bar for journalistic innovation.
